Banpo Museum, a well-known attraction in Xi'an, launched its folk culture month event on July 30. The event aims to be a bridge enabling tourists to get closer to the local folk culture and intangible cultural heritages.

The museum offers many booths for display of Chinese traditional handicrafts called dough modeling. Visitors can also learn about the long history of Xi’an dough modeling, one of the most popular folk arts in China.
